La Puente, California - Alliance Property Group (APG) is excited to announce the grand re-opening of Sunny Garden Apartments. The 95-unit apartment complex, located in La Puente, California, is set to celebrate its grand re-opening on May 25, 2023, after undergoing an extensive renovation project. The preservation of affordable housing has great impacts on local neighborhoods by aiding underserved communities and senior citizens. Special amenities on the property also support mental, physical, and social health for tenants.
Sunny Garden Apartments was at risk of losing its affordability and turning into a market rate. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the renovation project was completed successfully, restoring the complex to ease the rising costs of market-rate property homes for the community. The Mediterranean-style apartments brighten the neighborhood and will lift local property valuations.
This project was a collaborative effort that includes Community Revitalization & Development Corporation (CRDC), Hunt Capital Partners, Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA), Rose Community Capital, and Century Housing. Additionally, financial collaborators for the project include the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee and California Debt Limit Allocation Committee. The Sunny Garden apartment complex is a testament to the commitment of these organizations to affordable housing and senior development.
